Plenty of locals had a lot to say about the North Ferry line in Greenport this Fourth of July weekend. So, too, did at least one celebrity.
Television personality Martha Stewart was overheard complaining about a 90-minute line she had to wait on this week to head to Shelter Island en route to the South Fork, according to pagesix.com.
The lifestyle maven said her driver, a trained policeman, had to intercede to keep the peace as things got unruly. She said the South Ferry line to North Haven moved much smoother, according to the report.
