Actress Piper Perabo will appear in a pair of free staged readings of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor later this month.

Perabo, who is perhaps best known for her starring role in the 2000 film “Coyote Ugly,” will perform the role of Viola in the readings, which will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15. The performances are being produced by Bay Street Theater.

“This reading is offered to the community at no charge,” the theater wrote in a press release. ” There will be seating in bleachers, but guests are invited to bring their own chairs, picnics and blankets to enjoy this special sunset production under the stars.”

A third VIP reading at a private waterfront residence in Sag Harbor, will be held Aug. 16. Tickets to that event are being sold for $250. Contact Kim Fink at 631-725-0818 Ext. 112 to purchase tickets.

The following actors will perform in the readings: Julia Motyka as Elizabeth; Josh Gladstone as Sir Toby Belch; and Kate Mueth as Maria.
