They came, they shucked garlic and they shimmied at the contra dance.

Sylvester Manor’s seventh annual Plant and Sing, a music festival that celebrates the harvest season, drew hundreds of people from Shelter Island and beyond on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Headliners the Seldom Scene, Bryan Sutton and Michael Daves and Sylvester Manor’s own Edith and Bennett provided live music.
