Saturday, Feb. 6

Free the Trees

Come out to Mashomack Preserve from 10 a.m. to noon and help remove Asiatic bittersweet, porcelain berry and other smothering vines that can kill trees. Winter is a great time to get out and eradicate invasive vines and other problematic plants. Bring work gloves. Water and snack will be provided. Call (631) 749-1001 to reserve a spot.

The event is for  those ages 12 and up and there is no fee. The Mashomack Preserve is located at 47 South Ferry Road. For more information visit nature.org

Valentine’s Day Tea Party

Kids are invited to the library at 2 p.m. for an early Valentine’s Day Tea Party. Dressing up is encouraged.

Sunday, Feb. 7

Super Bowl Party

Bring your friends to watch the game at the American Legion. Enjoy a cash bar and bar food. There is a  $10 suggested donation. Everyone is welcome and no reservations are necessary.
