Sylvester Manor Educational Farm, in cooperation with American Legion Mitchell Post 281, will present an evening of acoustic music with Barbecue Bruce and the Brisket Brothers at Legion Hall on Saturday, February 13  at 6  p.m.

Fresh off an outstanding opening set at the Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen concert last month, guitarist Bruce MacDonald and fiddler Dan Skabeikis will share more of their eclectic repertoire in an intimate “pub” setting.

Besides the fingerstyle/slide guitar, Bruce also plays the mandolin, claw-hammer banjo and auto harp, providing a varied mixture of songs.

Along with zany sidekick Lindsay Reeve (percussion and harmonica), the Brisket Brothers are a fixture at many local wineries, restaurants and clubs.

Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 at the door. They are available at sylvestermanor.org or by calling Sylvester Manor at 749-0626.

Proceeds from the Legion’s cash bar will benefit Mitchell Post 281.
