Saturday, March 26

Easter Egg Sale 

The Sylvester Manor Farm Stand will open for one hour to sell fresh eggs on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Stock up for Easter morning breakfast (and for decorating).

The Sylvester Manor Farmstand is located at 21 Manwaring Road.

Free the Trees

Come out to Mashomack Preserve from 10 a.m. to noon and help remove Asiatic bittersweet, porcelain berry and other smothering vines that can kill trees. Early spring is a great time to get out and eradicate invasive vines and other problematic plants. Bring work gloves. Water and snack will be provided. Call (631) 749-1001 to reserve a spot.

This event is for ages 12 and up and there is no fee. For more information visit nature.org. The Mashomack Preserve is located at 47 South Ferry Road.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Shelter Island Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m.

Children ages one through eight are invited to participate. There will be prizes. The rain date is Sunday, March 27.

Firefighters Field is located at Cartwright and Burns roads. 

Rachel Lee Priday and David Kaplan in concert

Violinist Rachel Lee Priday and pianist David Kaplan will perform at the Clark Arts Center on Saturday, March 26 at 5 p.m.

The Perlman alumni will perform a program of Beethoven, Prokofiev and Schumann.

Tickets are $25 and the concert is free for those aged 18 and under. There will be a “Meet the Artist” reception afterwards at the Ram’s Head Inn. Works in Progress Concert

The Perlman Music Program will present a concert at the Clark Arts Center on Sunday, March 27 at 2:30 p.m.
