Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee opened up its eighth location in Sag Harbor this past weekend.

Similar to its location in Amagansett and six more in New York City, the Jack’s team will use its patented way of brewing organic coffee at its new location.

Founder and owner Jack Mazzola created a coffee maker that stirs the grounds while the water is being added, which he said ultimately provides full extraction of flavor and creates the “perfect cup of coffee.” He uses the “stir brewer” in all of his shops.

Aside from serving vegan baked goods the coffee shop hopes to add ice cream to the mix in the near future.

The Sag Harbor location also plans to pay homage to the village’s whaling history. An actual boat serves as the door to the shop and a collection of local nautical artifacts will also be on display.

“ When we pick a location, we do it because we love everything about the surrounding community,” said Jack’s Stir Brew spokesperson Natalie Rutgers. “We pay special tribute to our loyal customers whenever we can.”

Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee is located at 51 Division St., Sag Harbor. Its hours are Sunday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
