East End Arts is bringing music education to the South Fork by opening a satellite campus in Bridgehampton this September.
Working in collaboration with the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, private and group music lessons will be offered at the Bridgehampton location beginning this fall.
East End Arts has been offering music lessons to beginners, advanced students and all levels in between since 1995. Lessons are open to the public and available to students of all ages.
The South Fork satellite school will offer private music lessons to children and adults in voice, violin, guitar, piano, as well as band and orchestral instruments. Group guitar lessons will be offered on Saturday mornings in Bridgehampton as well. More group lessons are expected to be added in 2017.
“East End Arts is thrilled to have this opportunity to to answer the demand for music instruction on the South Fork,” said Diane Giardo, East End Arts’ education director. “By partnering with BHCCRC, we are able to better serve our East End Community.”
East End Arts’ main Riverhead campus has 200 students enrolled in their music program each semester. There is also visual and other arts programming available for children and adults of all ages and levels.
The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center launched its music program in 2015 upon the success of their first Jazz for Jennings event and work shops with trumpeter Jon Faddis.
“We are very excited to be able to expand to instruments beyond our keyboards with our new partnership with East End Arts,” said Bonnie Michelle Cannon, executive director of the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center. “This is a fabulous opportunity to bring music into the lives of children and their families on the South Fork.”
Programs will begin the week of September 12, 2016. Advance registration is required for all private and group music lessons. For more information and to register call (631) 369-2171 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
