A cooler and less sticky day than yesterday is in store for Shelter Island’s Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS is calling for sunny skies and a high temperature near 79. Light and variable winds will spring up this morning out of the northeast at about 6 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, according to the NWS, with a low around 67 and southwest winds at about 7 mph.
