Annual Harvest Craft Fair

Enjoy the fall season at The Tavern at Shelter Island House’s annual Harvest Craft Fair on Saturday, October 8, from 12 to 5 p.m.

Shop locally made crafts, taste new autumn cocktails, enjoy new bar bites and play outdoor games like pétanque, paddle tennis and corn hole.

61st Annual Scallop Dinner

Enjoy a great seafood dinner, while helping a local organization on Saturday, October 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pridwin Hotel.

The Shelter Island Lions Club holds their annual scallop dinner to raise funds for many good causes on the island.

Tickets are: $35 for adults, $15 for children 10 and under. Take-out is also available. For tickets call (631) 749-0042; groups call (631) 209-7452. The Pridwin Hotel is located at 81 Shore Road.

Shelter Island Friends of Music

Come hear a free concert by acclaimed violinist Tessa Lark on Sunday, October 9 at 3 p.m. at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church.

Lark will be accompanied by pianist Amy Yang. She will perform works by Schubert, Telemann, Prokofiev, Lark/Traditional, and Strauss. A meet the artist reception with refreshments will follow the performance, which is also free. Donations are appreciated.
