Still have holiday shopping to get done? Yes? Well, take heart because you’re not alone!

The good news is, if you happen to be on Shelter Island this weekend, you have some options — among them is a Holiday Craft Fair at the Ram’s Head Inn.

The fair runs from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 10 and features lots of local vendors — plus cocktails while you shop. Now that’s a way to take the stress out of the season.

Among the offerings will be jewelry and ceramics by John Pagliaro, Liz Melichar’s Shelter Island Salts, ceramics by Stephanie Francis, One Smart Kitty printed cards by Catherine Brigham, Hally Dinkel’s Dering Harbor Photography, jewelry and accessories by Tanya Jones, Carrie Woods Temptress Yarn and Fiber Arts, Dana Ramos photography and Home Goods, Positve Charm by Lisa Krekeler and MEM’s Gems by MaryEllen McGayhey.

It’s a nice way to celebrate the season and check off some of those names on your list in one of the nicest settings on Shelter Island.

By the way, the craft fair is being offered in conjunction with the Island Wide Holiday Stroll organized by the Shelter Island Chamber of Commerce, so check out the decorated trees, the day-long holiday events at stores and boutiques, dining specials at Island restaurants and cafes, and finally, a free Holiday Open House at Mashomack Preserve from 2 to 5 p.m.

Maybe we’ll even have a little snow!
