Looking for something to do on Shelter Island this weekend? We’ve got you covered.
Here are four events worth checking out. Or as always, you can visit our events page.
Havens Store is open
The Shelter Island Historical Society’s Havens Store, offering handcrafted and local gifts, will be open on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

For the reader on your list, the Havens Store sells a wide selection of books by local authors, including “Between Sea and Sky” ($43.50) Jake Rajs’ photography book that captures the spirit of the North Fork — from glorious sunrises and vast expanses of fields and wetlands to architectural landmarks like 18th century barns and the Orient Point Lighthouse.
