Shelter Island Historical Society Farmers Market returns

It’s back! Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the popular Farmers Market at Shelter Island Historical Society returns for the 2017 summer season. Opening day is Saturday, May 27 and the market will operate from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Saturday through September 2 at the Historical Society’s headquarters on Route 114.

The Farmers Market features produce and products grown and created by local farmers, craftspeople, and business owners. Vendors sell fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, herbs, fish, breads, pies, salads, cheese, granola and more.

The market will be held rain or shine each week. Admission is free.
