Fans of straight up rock n’ roll will be pleased to know that Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor is bringing back Joe Lauro and his “Legends of Rock” films at the Sag Harbor venue on Fridays, January 20, February 10, and March 10 at 8 p.m.
The “Legends” programs are made up of rare and iconic filmed performances by the greatest icons in rock ‘n’ roll, jazz and blues. Past segments have included seldom seen clips of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Sex Pistols, David Bowie and many others. (more…)
The New Year will soon be upon us, so turn over a new leaf with … “The Doubtful Sprout,” a show for little ones and their parents by Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater.
The show is Saturday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor where the audience will tunnel down with Worm and Sprout to discover the mysterious life found inside soil. (more…)

Fans of “The Scarlet Letter” will be pleased to know that its protagonist Hester Prynne is alive and well … and appearing this month at Bay Street Theater.
It’s all part of Literature Live! Bay Street’s annual educational initiative which brings classic books to life on stage, and Hester, of course, is the heroine of the 1850 novel by Nathaniel Hawthorne, who you may remember from your high school English class. The play opens at Bay Street on Monday, November 7. (more…)
